Drop in the workpaper or reconciliation you least trust. Tally reads every formula and tie-out and shows you exactly what's hiding in it, in plain English. Your file is never stored.

Deterministic checks. Tally only flags what it can prove.
Tally is reading your workbook…

What Tally checks

  • Formulas someone typed over. A calculation replaced with a number that looked right at the time. The total still adds up, so nothing looks wrong.
  • Totals that stopped footing. A column that no longer equals its own total, usually because a row was inserted above the sum.
  • Tie-outs that broke. Two figures that have always agreed, in different places, that no longer do.

Tally only flags what it can prove. It does not guess, and it does not rewrite your file.

Questions

Is my file stored?
No. Your workbook is processed in memory to run the checks and is never saved to disk.
What file types work?
Excel workbooks (.xlsx) up to 5MB. CSV and Google Sheets exports are not supported yet.
What does Tally actually check?
Formulas silently overwritten with typed values, totals that no longer foot, and tie-outs between figures that used to agree. Tally only flags what it can prove.
